1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OneSimpleWill website and will-building service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by this Visitor Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OneSimpleWill provides a free, technology-assisted tool that helps users create a basic last will and testament. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate and review will documents based on information you provide.

3. Not Legal Advice

This Service does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. The documents generated are for informational purposes only. OneSimpleWill is not a law firm and does not employ or retain attorneys for the purpose of providing legal advice to users.

4. Limitations of the Service

This tool is designed for straightforward situations only. If your circumstances involve any of the following, you should consult a licensed attorney:

5. State Law Variations

Laws governing wills vary by state and change frequently. While the Service references state-specific requirements (witness counts, notary requirements, governing statutes), there is no guarantee that documents generated are current or suitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for confirming that your will complies with the laws of your state at the time of execution.

6. User Responsibilities

By using this Service, you agree that:

7. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing your first and last name, email address, phone number (verified via SMS), and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

8. Technology-Assisted Document Generation

Documents are generated using artificial intelligence. The AI-assisted review provided in Step 7 is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal review or legal advice. The technology-assisted review identifies potential issues but may not catch all legal concerns specific to your situation.

9. Document Storage

Will drafts are stored in your account for your convenience. You may save, update, and regenerate your will at any time. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of final executed documents.

10. Third-Party Data Sharing

Basic contact information (name, address, city, zip code, email, phone, IP address) may be shared with Legacy Assurance Plan for the purpose of providing additional estate planning information and services. This data is transmitted securely to authorized partners only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneSimpleWill, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, any documents generated, any errors or omissions, any actions taken based on the Service, or any loss or damages arising from your use.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OneSimpleWill, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of this Agreement.

14. Modifications

OneSimpleWill reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

15. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
